Every coding agent runs in its own silo. None answers to one helm. The result is five disconnected chats, no shared log, and no accountability — the problem NEST was built to solve.

The proliferation of coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, Gemini, OpenCode — gave teams capability and took away control. Each agent is powerful; the team running all five has no single source of truth.

The design is a control plane — one Rust server as the single source of truth, a CLI, and a React PWA. The agents don't change; the control plane sits over them. Run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, and OpenCode from one hub, every session accountable to one log.

Why a Control Plane, Not a Tool

A new tool adds to the sprawl. A control plane ends it. The point isn't "another agent" — it's the helm the existing agents report to. That's the design that compounds: every new agent the team adopts inherits the same control plane instead of adding a new silo.
