What is STAXIS?+

How is STAXIS different from a custodial fund?+
A custodial fund holds your capital. STAXIS never does. You connect a wallet or exchange with trade-only permissions — withdrawal is not possible and that is verifiable from the permissions scope. We surface signals; you act on them.
What is the circuit breaker?+
A daily technical risk control with three-layer enforcement and property-tested invariants. It halts a swarm when daily loss crosses 2.5% (warn) or 3% (halt). It is a control, not a guarantee — market gaps, slippage, and exchange outages can cause losses exceeding 3%.
What is the governance pipeline?+
Every swarm sits in one of five stages: paper → canary → live → degraded → retired. Every transition is documented in the monthly Calibration Report. You always know what stage your capital is running through.
Is paper mode really free?+
Yes. Paper mode requires no payment information and no commitment. You connect a wallet or exchange in paper mode and see the architecture and swarms in action with no real capital at risk.
Can I cancel any time?+
Retail tiers (Pro, Plus, Power) cancel any time, no exit fee or lockup. Performance cancels any time without exit fee; performance fees already accrued are billed at the next quarterly cycle. Enterprise has contract-defined exit terms.
What does the performance fee pay?+
20% of positive returns above your high-water mark, billed quarterly. The high-water mark rises only on positive performance, never on negative. If we don't clear your previous peak, we don't earn the fee for that quarter.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No. STAXIS does not charge setup, onboarding, withdrawal, inactivity, or cancellation fees. Trading fees on your exchange or DEX slippage are paid by you per your venue's fee schedule. We add no surcharge.
